Pastor Robert Belfort was born in Saginaw, MI.  He heard the voice of God calling him into full time ministry at the age of 17.  He went to Central Bible College in Springfield, MO and graduated with a B.A. in Pastoral Ministries.  He has been a youth pastor and a children’s pastor.  He came to Chicago and was part of Palestine Christian Temple now known as New Life Covenant.  He grew spiritually in that church and felt the calling to go to Pilsen to serve that community.  New Life Pilsen was started to meet the needs of this community and those surrounding it.  His heart is for the poor, the needy, the lost children, youth and adults of this community.  He is married to Yolani Belfort and they have one son named Nehemiah Belfort.
